Lesson 15
Dear Fatty,
Thank you for your
fifteenth message. My comments and corrections follow.
Sincerely,
Dear Professor Susan
Garreis,
Thank you for your comments
and corrections.
I saw the link of English
language. I used to think English is the most common language for native
speakers.
I
did not go to any old historical sites. The places I've traveled almost always
are natural scenery.
>I
certainly understand that. I, too, visit mostly places that are known for their
scenery.
I
remember the podcast was one in which views on the news were expressed.
Thank you for your concern. I did not sustain any direct damage from the storm.
But
there are a dozen people who died in the storm and about forty people missing.
>I
am so sorry for the loss of life and for the people who are missing.
And
the traffic is very confusing. In normal times I need 40 minutes to go to work,
but that day I spent an hour and a half.
>Traffic
is always a mess when there is a big weather event. I am glad you finally made
it to work.
By
the way, it is said a new typhoon will come again.
>Did
Typhoon Francisco hit Okinawa?
I
remember last year did not have so many typhoons.
>Yes,
they say this season is a bad one.
Next week class will be
suspended, so the last email will come the week after next.
>I hope you enjoy the
school festival. Please tell me all about it in the next message.
If I ever come to the US, I
will tell you. Thank you.
Fatty
